My Summer 2021 Favorites

I’m writing this from the top of a mountain in Winchester, Virginia!

Today I watered lots of vegetables and flowers, heard the buzzing from three beehives, ate fresh eggs from chickens named after the Golden Girls, and fed the animals (two dogs).

The great thing about my two weeks at friends’ house in the mountains is that I was motivated to only bring and buy the essentials — with a few treats to keep it fun. Here are my summer 2021 favorites!

Summer Dresses from Target

I am loving the selection of dresses from Target and other retailers this year! Target started off summer with a designer dress collaboration with brands RIXO, John Rogers, and ALEXIS. I snagged a couple and it’s killing me to see that they’re now 70% off and sold out in my size. However, it’s still worth checking to see if you’re lucky enough to find in the handful of sizes left or in stores. They are available in straight and plus sizes.
