This is a monthly series on my favorite things (binge on November, December, January, February, March, April, May and June). Sharing these items feels like an indulgence given all the serious writing out there, so I appreciate your clicks and claps! June flew by thanks to work and dogsitting. I’m hoping there’s a (mini) vacation in my future before the summer ends. And maybe an opportunity to sleep in past 5 a.m. 😂

Two-Tone White Mules with Gold Rivets

If these look familiar it’s because they are a pretty good dupe for the Valentino Rockstud mules that are $775. I bought these in my first-ever SHEIN order. I’m really not into fast (code: cheap) fashion (particular when it comes from China and sizing is all over the place) but I decided to give SHEIN a try. Given the then-price tag of $19, I’m surprised these mules were so comfortable. I ordered a couple clothing items that haven’t arrived yet, so I can’t speak to the quality of the clothes. These shoes however are perfect with my favorite white jeans.

By the way, YouTube SHEIN fans often say to read reviews and sizing charts for every item, as there is no universal standard for their items. The reviews said these mules run narrow, so I ordered a EU 39. My regular size is between a 7 and 7.5/EU 38.
