This is the second in a monthly column series on my favorite things (read November here). I love sharing the things that make my life easier, better, and more enjoyable. I’ll include an item or two in each category every month and may even add a few categories along the way. Let me know if you have category suggestions or item suggestions in the comments!

Favorite Clothing Item

Torrid Leggings

I love their high-waisted premium leggings with thick waistbands. They are great for cold months and Torrid has a ton of them. I have about 15 in black and a handful of others with detailing like fishnet insets, laser cut floral designs on the side, and camo. Remember, leggings aren’t pants! Even though these are thick enough that you can’t see through them, I always wear tunics, sweaters and dresses long enough to cover everything.

I’m not too old for these, am I?

Favorite Beauty Item

Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream

This is a great day and night moisturizer for the winter. It lasts all day and I’ve seen an improvement in the smoothness of my skin. I’ve tried much more expensive creams and while are some good, this one is definitely comparable and a better value.

Favorite Recipe

Salted Caramel Bars

I always get compliments when I make these bars, so this year they’re my go-to for Christmas baking. These buttery bars have a quick caramel sauce and are topped with salt. So simple and so good!

Favorite Subscription Box

Limited Edition Grinch BarkBox

Ok, I don’t have a dog, so I’ve never actually subscribed to BarkBox. A friend posted this Limited Edition Grinch BarkBox, complete with the antler that Max wears in the Grinch movie. I became obsessed with finding it because I want to put it on some of my dog friends. I was pleased to see that you can get this box without actually subscribing. The classic box is only $35 on Amazon! It has several different treats, two squeaky toys, and, of course, the antler that your doggy friend can’t wait to take off.

Favorite Book or Audio Book

Party Girl by Rachel Hollis

You might know Rachel Hollis from her massive New York Times bestseller, Girl, Wash Your Face. In that book she talks about writing her first novel, which was Party Girl. It’s not groundbreaking and follows the typical small town girl moves to the big city — has a bitch-boss — meets boys storyline. But it’s a cute and entertaining read.

Favorite Snack

Buff Bake Protein Sandwich Cookies in Sweet & Salty

I generally avoid protein-packed sweets because they all have a weird texture or aftertaste. However, these little sandwich cookies that come four in a pack are actually crunchy and the stats aren’t too bad either! I’ve tried the Double Chocolate and Sweet & Salty. The Sweet & Salty is by far my favorite.

Favorite Household Item

mDesign Large Stackable Kitchen Storage Organizer Bins

I bought two sets of these bins (12 total) to organize by pantry and refrigerator. They’re clear and are roomy enough to fit all of groups of things — like various sugars, 8+ vitamin bottles, canned goods, etc. They’re sturdy and have a handle, so it makes getting to items in the back while keeping everything organized very easy.

Favorite Gift I Gave

‘Shine Bright’ Necklace

I bought these cute necklaces for my daily editors at GetBrightEmail.com. I bought a couple extra, so be sure to subscribe to Bright because I’ll be doing a giveaway!

Note: By using some of the links above, I may be compensated through the Amazon Affiliate program. However, none of this is sponsored and all opinions are my own.
