My Monthly Lifestyle Favorites — August 2019
This is a monthly series on my favorite things (binge on November, December, January, February, March, April, May, June and July). Sharing these items is an indulgence given all the serious news out there, so I appreciate your clicks and claps! I tried to do a “No Buy July.” I learned about the “no buy” or “low buy” phenomenon from a beauty blogger who decided to do a no buy year in 2018 after being devastated by the 2016 election and finding herself shopping in order to cope. *eye roll* Anyway, I have no political statement to make this month. I just wanted to use up products I already have, including a ton of samples and clothes that I want to wear before the end of summer. So, while most of these are items I purchased last month, they’re all items I’ve been enjoying!
Favorite Clothing/Shoe Item
Celebrity Pink Denim
I’ve mentioned Celebrity Pink before and I have been living in my white jeans this summer. I can’t imagine ever spending more than $40 on jeans knowing that this brand exists with such high quality. This brand has the perfect amount of stretch and can be dressed up or down. Most pairs are $30–40 at Macy’s (not counting that there is ALWAYS a sale at Macy’s). If you float between sizes, size down.
