How You Can Shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Like Melania Trump

If you’ve spent any time on YouTube in the last few weeks, then you know it’s the annual Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. In a fun twist, I’m building on my “Mondays with Melania” write-up and showing you how Melania (perhaps along with her brilliant designer and stylist Hervé Pierre) might shop the sale. You’ll see classic pieces similar to what she’s worn, edgier pieces that she likes to don for casual events, and some gifts she might get for The Donald and Barron. No slouchy (still overpriced? Reminder: The sale opens to all Nordstrom cardholders on August 13 and to everyone else (like me) on August 19. Experienced Anniversary sale shoppers and YouTubers tell me that there is very little sale inventory in store and you should buy online for the most size and color options. For her inauguration look, the First Lady’s makeup artist Nicole Bryl used her own line along with some others. The lip look included Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-In-Place lip pencil in 04 Rose and Urban Decay ‘Naked’ cream lipstick, finished with Naked ‘Lovechild’ lipgloss.
